Light Up Navajo Update!
The crews continued making progress on the Navajo Nation despite some extremely rugged and challenging terrain in Utah. The crews successfully finished framing the 52 poles for the project, while additional holes were dug and several poles were set throughout the day.
One of the biggest accomplishments yesterday was being able to energize a homestead that crews have been working on over the last several days. Another family receiving power for the first time continues to make all of the hard work worthwhile.
The digging conditions were some of the toughest we have experienced so far. In several locations, it took hours just to complete a single hole using the pressure digger due to the rocky terrain. Despite those challenges, the crews stayed motivated and continued pushing forward to accomplish as much work as possible.
Overall, it was another productive day, and we remain one step closer to bringing power to even more homesteads across the Navajo Nation.
