WREC Attends Rap River Run Event

17th Annual Rap River Run a Success!

WREC participated again in this year's Rap River Run on Saturday.  Employees supplied cold drinks and cooked 1,000 hot dogs for those in attendance. The RAP (Runaway Alternatives Project) River Run is a yearly event to raise critical funds to support the needs of Youth and Family Alternative’s (YFA’s) RAP House for at-risk, runaway, and homeless youth. Runners of all ages participated in this year’s event, which included a 10K, 5K, and a Kid’s Fun Run. Several WREC employees also ran, plus a past WREC scholarship winner stopped by. Thank you to all participants and the WREC crew who offered their time and commitment to help make this year's community event successful!
