WREC Participates in Light Up Navajo IV Orientation
Today, WREC participated in the NTUA Light Up Navajo IV orientation, learning about the mission, the history of the Navajo Nation, and the need that still exists across the region.
The Light Up Navajo initiative began in 2019 to help bring electricity to families who have never had power in their homes. Today, approximately 9,390 Navajo families are still living without electricity.
WREC is proud to be one of 52 organizations participating in Light Up Navajo IV, helping change lives one connection at a time. We are honored to serve alongside so many dedicated crews and learn more about the culture and resilience of the Navajo Nation.
