WREC represented by Mr. Lambert (WREC’s General Manager) along with Gary Steele (Manager of Member Relations), Ricky Gude (District Manager), and Michael Gulvin (Engineering Services Supervisor) with Florida Agriculture Commissioner Mr. Wilton Simpson, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Double Branch Development that is along interstate 75 and State Road 52 in San Antonio, FL. This development will be 965 acres that will host mixed-use development bringing in 6,000 jobs to Pasco County. Plans for the land use include 4 million square feet of industrial development, 400,000 square feet of retail space, 3,500 housing units and 300 hotel beds. WREC will be one of the main power suppliers for this development and is happy to help power our community.
