WREC offers our Residential Members a new stand-by generator program.
Generator Fuel Source: Propane or Natural Gas | Voltage: 120/240 (which is standard for an individual members home.)
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
A: Yes, the generator would be large enough to power a standard home.
A: The cost includes the generator, a transfer switch, and a 10-year warranty (depending if the generator location is near the meter). Please speak to a WREC representative for a quote.
A: Yes, based on a positive credit score. You can finance for 10 years for a monthly cost (this includes a maintenance fee). Please speak to a WREC representative for a quote.
A: WREC would finance the generator for up to 10 years at a 5% interest rate, with a down payment required. Please speak to a WREC representative for a quote.
A: WREC employees or WREC approved contractors would install and maintain the generator.
A: There would be a required monthly fee which would include servicing the unit (oil changes, filters, etc.) and a new battery every 4 years. Please speak to a WREC representative for a quote.
A: 10 years parts, labor, and service would be performed by one of our factory trained generator technicians.
A: Yes, each Member will be responsible for having their own propane service installed and cost will vary due to price fluctuations in propane, labor, and materials. WREC encourages each Member to quote several propane providers for the best service and price. The minimum size propane tank would be 250 gallons.
A: Approximately 60 to 90 days.
