On August 30, Hurricane Idalia made landfall in the Nature Coast area of Florida and impacted our area in many ways. Coastal flooding was a major concern along with the loss of power, with over 11,000 Members affected. By Saturday, September 2, WREC crews had fully restored all Members affected and were heading to our Northern state Co-ops to assist in their restoration efforts. Thank you to our linemen for all of their work and dedication, and to our Members affected for their patience during this time.
