Building Skills, Strengthening Safety

 At WREC, investing in our employees means investing in the future. Today, a few of our Journeymen Linemen participated in one-on-one training with apprentices during a Gloving Orientation. Working in a de-energized training yard, apprentices completed hands-on tasks while receiving individualized instruction from experienced Journeymen. This valuable training helps ensure apprentices understand the proper techniques, safety procedures, and responsibilities that come with the job. The one-on-one setting gives apprentices the opportunity to ask questions, gain confidence, and strengthen the skills they need to safely perform their work. We are proud of the dedication shown by both our Journeymen and apprentices as they continue building the knowledge and experience needed to safely serve our communities.
