Mutual Aid Update!

Our WREC crews continue working alongside our fellow cooperative, Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CHELCO), to help restore power following the impacts of Hurricane Isaias. The last remaining Members without power are now being restored, and restoration efforts are focused on safely returning service to those remaining locations.

We are incredibly proud of our hardworking employees who have answered the call to support a fellow Florida cooperative. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the cooperative principle of Cooperation Among Cooperatives are making a difference for communities in need.

Please join us in thanking our crews and all utility workers working around the clock to restore power safely.
