Powering Curiosity at HCA Trade Day!

WREC had a great time attending Trade Day at Hernando Christian Academy, connecting with students and sparking conversations about the many career paths available right here at WREC. Our team shared real world insight into what it’s like to work in the electric cooperative industry, from office roles to field operations.

Our linemen gave students a hands on look at the tools, equipment, and gear they use every day, along with an inside look at their job duties and the skills it takes to keep the lights on safely and reliably.

We love opportunities like this to educate, inspire, and show the next generation that powerful careers can start close to home.
