WREC Hosts Senior Jobs Club Career & Resource Fair

WREC was proud to host a Senior Jobs Club Career & Resource Fair for the Urban Seniors Jobs Program today at the Cares Senior Health Clinic in New Port Richey. Bayonet Point District Manager John McCarty emceed the event, and WREC’s General Manager David Lambert was the keynote speaker.  

It was a wonderful event designed to help lower income individuals over fifty-five successfully re-enter the workforce who are currently unemployed. Several groups were onsite, and free haircuts, massages, and nail work were offered, along with interview skill practice and resume help. Snacks, lunch, and a raffle with amazing baskets of items were provided. 

Thank you to all who came out and to all the groups and participants. WREC is committed to supporting community projects like these that help those in need. We had a fun time hosting the event!
