WREC Hosts Teach-In at West Hernando Office

Today, WREC had the honor of hosting a Teach‑In for Hope for Tomorrow at our West Hernando Office. 

In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, we were proud to welcome students and educators from Hope Ranch Learning Academy, a nonprofit school dedicated to supporting students with autism and other developmental differences through individualized, hands‑on learning.

During the visit, our linemen shared what they do every day to keep the lights on, emphasizing the importance of electrical safety, while our System Reliability Manager explained how WREC uses thermal imaging and drone technology to inspect and maintain our power lines safely and efficiently.
