WREC attended the 15th Annual RAP River Run on Saturday, supplying food (hot dogs) and cold juice drinks to those in attendance. The RAP (Runaway Alternatives Project) River Run event has raised over $1.3 million over the last 14 years to support the needs of Youth and Family Alternative’s (YFA’s) RAP House for at-risk, runaway, and homeless youth. Thousands of runners of all ages, including several from WREC, participated in this year’s worthy community event, which included a 10K, 5K, and 3K Kid’s Adventure Fun Run. A big ‘Thank You’ to all participants and the WREC crew who donated their time and energy to help make this event successful!
