WREC’s David Lambert (Manager of Member Relations) and Gary Steele (Crystal River District Manager) recently presented George Schmalstig (United Way Citrus County CEO) a check for $13,160 for that district’s contribution to this organizations worthy cause. For 2023, almost $82,000 was donated to local United Way chapters from WREC and its employees. This will assist them in helping our community in areas such as health, education, and financial stability.
