On March 26, 2024, WREC’s very own West Hernando District Manager, David Gonzalez and Bayonet Point District Manager, Joe Marina were honored as recipients of the 2024 12th Congressional District Heroes Among Us Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the community and are dedicated to volunteerism, good deeds and going above and beyond to serve others.
